Carleton Elijah LaMar Temple 26, was the first twin born March 1, 1983 to James S. Nunn Sr. and Scignolia E. Moore Temple in Kansas City, MO. He was his mother's only son of six who was truly adored by his sisters. He was his father's oldest son of six. From the time he was a little boy his parents knew that he would make them proud. When his mother was informed by his elementary school teachers that her son had master the game of chest while only in the 3rd grade it was to no surprise.

While living in Iowa from 1993-95, Carleton gave his life to Christ at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids. He knew that to be successful in this life he had to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, and he did.

Carleton was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri where he was a mathematical genius at a young age. He won academic awards at state level and was challenged throughout his school years. He went on to attend Lincoln Academy and Lincoln Preparatory high School. Later in his high school years he realized that there may be better opportunities for him to excel and obtained his diploma at Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He furthered his education at Florida A. & M. and Tallassee Community College where he studied Journalism. Carleton relocated back home to be closer to his family in late 2002 and attended Penn Valley Community College.

Through his adult years, Carleton continued to accomplish tremendous career level goals while working at companies like At&t and Sprint. He was a Business Analyst Expert for Sprint. Carleton Temple started as a contract provisioner at Sprint in 2005 and became a Sprint employee that same year. Carleton was at the forefront of the business when Sprint partnered with a major player in the cable world to obtain their cable business. His supervisor told his team this business is wide open and we are looking for people to take ownership and leadership within the order management department and Carleton did just that. Carleton was selected as a Build the Bench protégé in 2007-2008 as part of Sprint’s career management program to build leaders. He received promotion after promotion and many awards for his hard work and dedication. He became a Business Analyst at the age of 25 leading major projects within the Quality and Process departments and worked on many projects with the cable project management office.  Carleton was a subject matter expert and helped shape process for Sprint’s major cable partner. He was the main go to person that was requested on conference calls not only with internal customers but with the cable partners as well. They trusted his decisions, admired his professionalism and respected his ideas. Carleton was a rising star not only within his department but within his company. He was a motivator, dependable resource, business leader, and mentor. To be all of these things to others around him at such a young age within the corporate world is a phenomenal feat. He was such an influential person to work with he empowered others around him to do their best to positively influence the culture of the department and throughout the company.

In March of 2006 Carleton's life was forever changed, he became the proud father of is first born Savannah Skyi. He knew what it would take to be the best father and that was a fathers unconditional love. Later in life Carleton decided to add to his stock and helped give birth to his 1st son Josiah Elijah and later daughter Sahara Ranie. Carleton was a dedicated father of three who spent his days and nights to ensure that his children knew a father's love. They were and still is the key to his heart. To watch them play together was like the lighting of a room he became their best friend. He was also the loving uncle to 21 nephews and nieces he was like a father to many of them and would nurture and care for them as if they were his own.

Carleton shared a special relationship with each of his nine siblings, he was the man of the family in earlier years after losing his grandfather and being the only boy he determined that he would have to take a stands and lead the way. His love, motivation and support for his family to make it was indescribable he would always provide comfort and assurance. In any situation you didn't have to tell him who to be or where to be he knew who was to you and what you needed of him at all times. His love was unconditional. Carleton was a man of integrity, with strong family values. His presence and contagious smile could change the mood of a room. He loved interacting with others; a charmer and ladies man. To know him was to love him. Carleton was the epitome of a friend, loyal, trustworthy, generous, and selfless and loved by many. Well respected was he.
